Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of the missing trainee estate agent, Chelsie Dack, who has not been seen since Sunday night.
Her disappearance is said to be out of character.
On Monday a Coastguard helicopter and the RNLI Great Yarmouth & Gorleston Lifeboat were used to try to find Chelsie, but a police spokesman confirmed to EYE that they had not been deployed again yesterday (Tuesday).
The search continued yesterday with police officers and volunteers from the Norfolk Lowland Search & Rescue Team concentrating their efforts around the seafront area of Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth.
A total of about 20 people were involved in the physical search.
The restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 crisis have meant that Police have had to discourage members of the public from carrying out any sort of informal searching – something that often takes place in cases of this kind in normal times.
The teams on the ground have been using a police drone unit, while detectives are continuing CCTV enquiries.
A Facebook group ‘Find Chelsie Dack’, created on Monday, has already amassed some 10,000 members.
Chelsie. who works at the Lowestoft branch of Howards, the Spicehaart brand in Lowestoft, and was last seen on Sunday evening (19th April) when she left her home in the High Street of Gorleston some time in the early hours. She was reported missing at 3am.
