The Guild of Property Professionals is taking its community on the road this autumn, bringing Members together for a nationwide series of regional meetings designed to create space for honest conversations, shared experiences and practical support between independent agents.
Starting in Exeter on 7 September, the tour will visit locations across the UK until 19 November, giving senior leaders from Guild Member offices the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect with fellow property professionals and talk openly about the challenges and opportunities facing their businesses and local markets.
Hosted by Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals, each meeting will provide an informal round table environment where Members can share what is working, talk through the issues they are facing and learn from agents who may be experiencing similar challenges in their own businesses.
While the property market can be competitive, The Guild believes there is significant value in creating a community where independent agents can support one another. The Regional Meetings are built around that principle, encouraging Members to share knowledge, experiences and ideas that can help others within the network.

McKenzie comments: “One of the greatest strengths of The Guild is the community we have built around our Members. Our Regional Meetings give us the chance to bring that community together face-to-face and, importantly, to create an environment where agents can talk openly with other agents.
“It is often those conversations between Members that deliver the greatest value. An agent may be dealing with a challenge that another Member has already encountered and found a way through. Equally, someone might have an idea or approach that could make a real difference to another business. Creating the opportunity for those conversations is incredibly powerful.”
The round table format is deliberately different from a traditional conference or presentation. Rather than simply listening to speakers, Members are encouraged to contribute, ask questions and share their own experiences, making the meetings a genuine two-way conversation between agents and The Guild.
McKenzie adds: “Independent agents are dealing with a huge amount of change, from economic and legislative pressures to shifting consumer expectations and increasing competition. They don’t have to navigate all of that alone.
“Our role is not just to provide Members with products, partnerships and business support, but to bring together a network of like-minded professionals who can learn from and support one another. These meetings are an important part of that. We want Members to leave having had useful conversations, gained a different perspective and, ideally, made connections they can continue to draw on long after the meeting has finished.”
The Regional Meetings form part of The Guild’s wider commitment to building a connected and supportive community of leading independent estate agents.
