Repairs platform Fixflo has integrated with contractor job management software BigChange, in a move designed to give property managers the opportunity to track repairs from instruction through to invoicing in real time.

The integration enables the automatic sharing of updates between the two platforms, allowing letting and managing agents to monitor the progress of maintenance work without contacting contractors for updates.

Appointments booked or rescheduled by contractors are automatically reflected in the repairs platform, while job completion dates, invoices and costs are transferred without manual input. Quotes, approvals and requests for additional work are managed through the same workflow.

The companies said the integration provides a single audit trail for each repair, from instruction through to invoicing, while tenants also receive appointment notifications as contractors schedule visits.

Dean Falvey, head of contractor operations at Fixflo, said: “Most of the friction in repairs is not the work itself, it is the chasing around it. Property managers ringing contractors for an ETA, tenants left wondering when someone is coming, invoices arriving in a form nobody can reconcile.

“Connecting Fixflo and BigChange takes that out. The contractor works in their own system, and the agent sees it all update in Fixflo.”

The integration is available immediately to customers using both platforms.
