Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) is hosting a leadership and resilience event for members of its Partnership Programme, featuring Sara Cox MBE, the first woman to referee a professional men’s rugby union match.
The event, titled Leadership Under Pressure, will take place at Reapit’s London headquarters on 2 July and will focus on decision-making, confidence and resilience in the workplace.
Cox previously spoke at WiEA’s 2026 Not a Conference event and has been invited back to lead a more practical session aimed at estate agency professionals.
Drawing on her experience officiating at the highest levels of professional rugby, Cox will discuss leadership in high-pressure environments, including decision-making, managing scrutiny and maintaining confidence when faced with challenging situations.
According to WiEA, the session is designed for professionals at all stages of their careers and will cover topics including self-leadership, resilience, influence and handling pressure in the workplace.
The event forms part of WiEA’s ongoing programme of professional development and networking opportunities for women working across the property sector.
Cox said: “Pressure has a way of showing us how much we trust ourselves. In my world, you have to make decisions in real time, with a lot of noise around you and plenty of people ready to question the call.
“That’s where leadership really shows up. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about staying clear, staying calm and backing yourself when it counts.
“What I love about WiEA is that this community creates space for women to grow, stretch themselves and realise they do belong in the room. I’m really looking forward to helping people explore that in a practical way.”

WiEA chair, Verona Frankish, commented: “So many women in this industry are already leading, even if they don’t always call it that. They are making decisions, supporting teams, influencing clients and holding things together every single day.
“This event is about helping them recognise that leadership in themselves and giving them the confidence and tools to use it more deliberately.
“Sara’s message landed so strongly at Not a Conference because it was honest, human and completely relevant to the pressures people are dealing with in estate agency. We wanted to create a smaller, more hands-on space where our partners could go deeper with that learning.”
The event is open exclusively to WiEA Partnership Programme members, with places priced at £99 plus VAT.
