Fire breaks out at estate agency branch

Fire crews were called out to a blaze above an estate agency in Mansfield town centre on Tuesday night.

Eight engines from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire were sent to Frank Innes in Market Street at 23:15pm on Tuesday.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews had tackled the blaze, across four floors and the basement, throughout the night.

Firefighters have dampened down and monitoring the building, with no injuries reported.

A section of road in the area – Quaker Way to White Hart Street – was closed during the incident, but has now reopened.
