epropservices continues buying spree with acquisition of The Property Jungle

epropservices has completed its second major acquisition this week with the purchase of The Property Jungle, which specialises in designing and building websites for estate agents.

Earlier this week, Toscafund backed epropservices, parent company of The Guild of Property Professionals and Fine & Country, also acquired Starberry, a major provider of estate agency websites and lead generation technology.

epropservices, which provides brands and technology to the property sector, says that the deal will further enhance the digital services offering across its customer base.

The Property Jungle is well-established in the industry with over 2,300 websites built and 18 years of experience working with sales, lettings, commercial, short-term lets and new homes agents of all sizes around the UK and internationally.

Jon Cooke, CEO of epropservices, commented: “The Property Jungle is another great addition to epropservices as we continue to grow our footing within the estate agency tech space.

“As with other sectors, estate agency is fast evolving with agents embracing virtual tools and digital marketing, an agent’s online presence is increasingly becoming their default ‘shop window’.

“We are pleased to be aligning ourselves with The Property Jungle, Mike and his experienced team and look forward to continuing to enhance their excellent reputation across the industry.”

Mike Smithson, founder and managing director of The Property Jungle, said: “Under Jon’s stewardship the epropservices group is developing into a formidable PropTech destination for agents who want to use best in class technologies to progress their business.

“At The Property Jungle we share the same vision, values and culture, trying every day to deliver the best value in market leading services and products. When we looked at our complementary capabilities it was obvious that coming together provided extra solutions and benefits to all our clients and each other.

“I am very excited by us becoming a part of epropservices group and look forward to leading my team through this next part of our great Jungle adventure.”

Matthew Siebert, director of Toscafund Asset Management, epropservices’ 85% shareholder, added: “As epropservices’ majority shareholder, Toscafund is very pleased to support Jon and his team’s drive to build Britain’s leading proptech services provider to the estate agency community. This second acquisition in a week demonstrates the company’s ambition and drive, and ensures that epropservices can deliver a full suite of digital tools to its clients.”

As a client of property jungle and one who has found their work splendid  it would be nice to have heard about this prior to the press release.

I’m also uncomfortable supporting a group now aligned with easy property – same parent owner if I’m not mistaken?

It’s a struggle to keep up with who is bailing who out these days.

They sold their stake in easyproperty back in 2019. Hopefully you hear today from The Property Jungle about what is happening. https://propertyindustryeye.com/new-owner-of-easyproperty-says-brand-is-as-strong-as-ever-in-eyes-of-consumer/
