BTL Evolution events to take place across the UK

Mortgage lenders will come together to host a series of ten ‘Buy to Let Evolution’ events, which  are due to take place across the UK from next week.

The events, the first of which will be held in Essex on 18 May, are designed to highlight the challenges and opportunities of the changing buy to let (BTL) market, with a particular focus on areas including green mortgages, HMOs, and specialist BTL.

Lenders taking part in the Buy to Let Evolution Events include Paragon Bank, Landbay, BM Solutions, The Mortgage Works, Fleet Mortgages and Keystone Property Finance, who is the main sponsor for the events.

The sessions aim to offer an ‘insider’s view’ to the market, covering the economy and expectations for the next 12 months, further development of the green agenda in BTL and affordability and rental stress tests.

Martin Reynolds, CEO of SimplyBiz Mortgages, commented: “The Buy to Let Evolution Events were created to explore the exponential growth of this sector in recent years, and what’s on the horizon that could impact that growth.  Whether currently advising on BTL or not, having a clear understanding of what is happening in a sector that is currently dominating the headlines will help delegates to assess their next steps, and make those all-important decisions to deliver the best possible outcomes to their clients.

“Member feedback on our existing support in this area, and the high usage of our BTL+ Hub, launched earlier this year, suggest that these meetings will be both very valuable and extremely popular.”
