£99 online estate agent cuts price by £50 for landlords

An online estate agent which has been charging £99 for sellers to list on Rightmove and Zoopla has cut its price to £49 for landlords looking to let their properties.

The new price allows landlords to list their properties on Rightmove, Zoopla and Primelocation.

Landlords will also get other services included in their £49 package, including tenancy referencing, contract drafting and digital signing, plus deposit registration and first month rent collection.

Tenants will be charged £30 if referencing is requested by the landlords.

99home chairman Richard Luckman said: “Having trailed [sic] our platform and letting service to numerous customers as a test run, we found that one thing is missing from our offering was a ‘one stop shop’ for our customers.

“So, we listened and fed this back to our IT gurus. We improved by not only giving the landlords ability to advertise on major property portals but to manage a portfolio as well.”

Well, after 1st April 2019, Openrent, Upad and all these online lettings will be taking over the market.

    Well done 99home!

Honestly how can anyone enjoying doing the job for such a poxy fee….oh I know you’re not actually doing the job really. The Chairman just sat in his bedroom with his IT gurus collecting his £49, its not clever its an insult which ever way you look at it. Its all a load of old rubbish. The best feeling about the job is listing a property properly, getting to know the owners, keeping in touch, looking after all aspects of the sale / rental and then getting a fair fee.

There you go I feel better for that outburst of frustration.

Another NSPR Portal Listing Facilitator that are openly abusing the right to list on Rightmove.

Take this listing as an example:

    rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65441506.html

Which was most recently advertised (twice, without success) with another onlinie here:

    rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-53822886.html

As can be seen, the wording… photos… room sizes – everything, in fact – is identical.

Now on their website the company state:

“Home visit is mandatory for property verification”

So are these jokers gonna tell you and me that NOT ONE thing on the previous listing was found to be incorrect, needed amended, updated – or just ‘spruced up’ by an experienced Agent wanting to do the best for their paying client?

    Pull.

    The.

    Chuffing.

    Other.

    One.

What we have here is Pay… Upload… $crew the system (and the genuine Agents that have paid for that system).

And the portals will simply turn their blind EYE – don’t matter how many times we forcibly open it for them.

May I suggest that, as Bread and Telly Savalas both warbled…

    rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65323408.html

…the picture does, in fact, paint a thousand words.

Seeing the adverts I think I may have read this company wrong….they obviously put time and effort into their photos, adverts, etc and generally offer an exceptional service …..not rubbish as previously stated, no not rubbish at all and I wish both the Chairman and his IT gurus all the very best in saving the public thousands of pounds

Anyone got any idea why the house Peebee highlights doesn’t show above front door level? Is the photographer that incompetent? or is there an electric substation behind the house?
