Cornwall-based estate and letting agency Lang Llewellyn & Co is opening a second office in St Austell following its acquisition of local lettings business RPM Lettings earlier this year.
The new branch, at 11a High Cross Street, will strengthen the agency’s presence in the mid-Cornwall rental market, with much of the acquired RPM portfolio located in and around St Austell.
Lang Llewellyn & Co acquired RPM Lettings in February, with the deal forming part of the agency’s wider expansion plans across Cornwall.
Elliott Newman has been appointed to head the new office and will serve as the local point of contact for landlords and tenants, supported by Lang Llewellyn & Co’s wider team.
The agency will mark the opening with a launch event at White River Place Shopping Centre on Friday, August 28, from 9am to 3pm, in partnership with Cornwall’s Rewind Radio.
The radio station will broadcast music from its trailer during the event, while representatives from Lang Llewellyn & Co will be available to meet local landlords, tenants and other visitors.
The High Cross Street branch will also be open throughout the day, giving visitors an opportunity to meet the team and view the new premises.
The opening follows the integration of RPM Lettings into the business and gives Lang Llewellyn & Co a permanent base from which to manage its expanded St Austell portfolio.
