Cornwall-based estate and letting agency Lang Llewellyn & Co is to open a new office in St Austell. The move follows its acquisition of local business RPM Lettings earlier this year.
The new branch will be based at 11a High Cross Street. It will strengthen the agency’s presence in the mid-Cornwall rental market.
Much of RPM Lettings’ portfolio is located in and around St Austell.
Lang Llewellyn & Co acquired the business in February as part of its wider expansion across Cornwall.
Elliott Newman has been appointed to head the new office. He will act as the local point of contact for landlords and tenants, supported by the wider Lang Llewellyn & Co team.
The agency will mark the opening with a launch event at White River Place Shopping Centre on Friday, August 28, from 9am to 3pm. The event will be held in partnership with Cornwall’s Rewind Radio.
The radio station will broadcast music from its trailer during the day. Lang Llewellyn & Co representatives will also be available to meet landlords, tenants and other visitors.
The High Cross Street branch will remain open throughout the event, allowing visitors to meet the team and view the new premises.
The opening follows the integration of RPM Lettings into the business. It also gives Lang Llewellyn & Co a permanent base for its expanded St Austell portfolio.
