Zoopla ‘Me too’ advert named as turkey of the week by trade magazine

Advertising trade magazine Campaign has named Zoopla’s ‘Me too’ advert as its ‘turkey of the week’.

The advert, on London underground, features a line of hermit crabs all saying ‘Me too’, to another crab who says: “I’m selling my house on Zoopla.”

The #MeToo campaign highlights sexual harassment.

Campaign asks if Zoopla’s creative team have been “living under a rock”.

Separately, ZPG boss Alex Chesterman has backed another new business.

He has invested in Zebra Fuel, which describes itself as the UK’s first digital petrol station.

A 24-hour Deliveroo-style fuel service, it fills your car at the place of your choosing – drive, supermarket car park, or in the street.

Other backers of the business include Brent Hoberman, of Lastminute.com, and Saul Klein, who co-founded Lovefilm with Chesterman.

The service, currently only available in London, is designed to replace every petrol station in the country.

It has raised £1.8m from its backers.
