What’s in store in 2022? Rightmove to host economic outlook webinar

Rightmove has announced its upcoming webinars for agents, starting with an expert outlook on the rest of 2022 with David Smith, economics editor at The Sunday Times.

On Wednesday 2nd March, Smith will be hosting an hour-long webinar to discuss what could lie ahead for the economy during the year, addressing topics such as the cost.

Other March webinars

In legislation, Mark Stemp, tax partner at Crowe UK will be joining a webinar on Thursday 10th March to discuss capital gains tax on residential property. Agents recently voted the webinar as one of the subjects it would be most useful to cover.

Stemp will be helping agents to leave the webinar with more of an understanding of calculating capital gains tax on the disposal of a residential property, Main Residence Relief, and the new 60-day reporting and tax payment deadline.

On Tuesday 15th March, Rightmove’s legal and compliance director, David Cox, will be giving an update on the latest news and regulations that matter most to agents. David will be discussing Material Information for property listings, and the new Digital Right to Rent checks.

Following February’s legislation week, property law expert David Smith will be returning on Wednesday 16th March as part of a series of webinars to help agents prepare for the Renting Homes (Wales) Act coming into force in July.

Finally, on Thursday 24th March Richard Rawlings will be returning to a webinar to share 15 ideas to get more valuations. The webinar is aimed at helping listers and negotiators, and Rawlings will be discussing topics such as being an effective business generator, converting buyers to sellers, and proven marketing campaigns.
