The Guild of Property Professionals has launched a six-part video series aimed at sharing business insights and best practice with estate agents.
The series, Inside the Network, is hosted by The Guild’s chief executive, Iain McKenzie, and covers topics including brand building, generating business opportunities, winning instructions and marketing strategies.
Drawing on McKenzie’s experience in estate agency and contributions from members of The Guild’s network, the episodes focus on approaches used by agents across different markets.
McKenzie, who previously ran his own independent estate agency before becoming chief executive of The Guild, said the series reflects the knowledge and experience shared across the organisation’s membership.
The first episodes are due to be released this month.
“I have always believed that one of the biggest strengths of The Guild is the collective knowledge and experience within the network,” said McKenzie. “The Inside the Network series is about sharing that expertise and giving Members access to ideas, strategies and experiences that can help them strengthen and grow their businesses.
“Having been an agent and a Guild Member myself, I understand the realities of being on the front line, from winning instructions and standing out against competitors to building trust with clients. That experience shapes the way I approach supporting our Members today,” he continued.
As part of The Guild, member agencies continue to operate as independent businesses while accessing the organisation’s services, resources and network.
Inside the Network is intended to be the first in an ongoing series. Future episodes are expected to feature Guild members, account managers and head office staff, covering business case studies, industry issues and operational topics relevant to estate agents.
“The property industry is built on people, relationships and knowledge,” added McKenzie. “The purpose of this series is to bring that knowledge together and ensure Members can learn from each other, wherever they are in the country.”
