A new awards programme aimed exclusively at the UK’s growing personal estate agency sector has launched, with nominations now open for the inaugural Personal Estate Agency Awards 2026.
The awards have been established to recognise estate and lettings professionals operating within brokerage models, as well as brokerage businesses and teams across the UK.
The launch comes amid continued growth in self-employed and brokerage-based agency models, which have become an increasingly prominent part of the property sector in recent years.
The awards ceremony will take place on 22 October 2026 at Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham. Nominations are free to enter and can be submitted by individuals, colleagues, brokerage firms and teams until 31 July.
Categories will cover both individual and business performance, including estate agency, lettings, customer service, marketing, social media, community engagement and emerging talent.
Entries will be assessed by an independent judging panel drawn from across the property industry and related disciplines, including compliance, recruitment, sales progression, coaching and PropTech. Organisers say finalists and winners will be selected by the judges against published criteria rather than by the event organisers.
Chris Webb, founder of The Estate Agent Consultancy and creator of the awards, said: “The personal estate agency sector has grown significantly over recent years, yet there has never been an awards programme dedicated solely to recognising the people and businesses operating within it.
“The aim of these awards is simple. To celebrate excellence, recognise achievement and shine a spotlight on the people and businesses helping to raise standards across the sector.
“From the outset, it was important that the awards were supported by an independent judging panel made up of respected professionals from across different areas of the property industry. We wanted a process that is credible, fair and focused entirely on recognising genuine excellence, and we’re looking forward to seeing the nominations that come forward over the coming months.”
