Stirling Ackroyd purchases London agency Beresford Residential

Stirling Ackroyd Group has acquired sales and lettings agency Beresford Residential.

The company has purchased the whole of the South East London business, including the three sales and lettings branches in Brixton, Camberwell, and West Norwood.

Bruce Evans, MD of Group Operations at Stirling Ackroyd Group, said: “The strategic acquisition of Beresford Residential alongside the three businesses we acquired earlier in the year, are great additions to Stirling Ackroyd and further cements our growing footprint in London and the South East. Each of the businesses is being integrated into our existing branch network and will operate under the Stirling Ackroyd brand as we continue to grow our revenue per branch.”

Graham Harrison, acquisition director at Stirling Ackroyd Group, commented: “We have made an average of four acquisitions per year since we started in 2017 and have at least four more acquisitions planned in 2022. Our track record of acquiring and successfully integrating sales and lettings businesses speaks for itself, and we are always looking for more agencies to add to the Group.”

Stirling Ackroyd Group recently announced the consolidation of its lettings business as it works to standardise business processes and programmes and aligns all its property brands under the Stirling Ackroyd Group brand.

The Group has rather ambitious plans for investment and growth, including an increase in the revenue of the estate and letting agency branches above the current average of £1m per annum, as well as an increase in market share in 2022.

Nick Dunning, CEO of Stirling Ackroyd Group, said: “Acquisitions are just one part of our plan as we also look to open ten offices in strategic locations in London, leveraging the Stirling Ackroyd brand in the right places to underpin our organic growth over the coming 12 months and beyond.”
