Purplebricks has been named as a ‘superbrand’ for the first time.
Purplebricks came 13th in the list of consumer brands and is the only property firm in the top 20.
Rightmove, Savills, JLL, Knight Frank, and Strutt & Parker are also among those listed.
Savills came first in the estate agents’ league table for an astonishing 13th year running.
CEO James Sparrow said: “It is a huge accolade and demonstrates the depth of the Savills brand which not only reflects our commitment to quality, reliability and distinction but also our overall ethos, history and culture.”
The list is compiled by polling 2,500 adults alongside a panel of Superbrand experts.
Almost 3,200 brands were scrutinised, split evenly between consumer and business to business brands.
A superbrand is judged on quality – does the brand provide quality products and services; reliability; and distinction – and it needs to be well known in its sector and different from rivals.
The Superbrands survey has been going since 1995, and brands neither apply or pay to be considered.

It just goes to show how ignorant some people are, believe anything they are told. A little research and the right questions and the heading could just as easily read … the super worse brand.
‘it needs to be………..different from rivals.’ Yes it is, theyre NOT estate agents.
Purplebricks have estate agents offering a 7 day a week service. Majority of LPE’s were the top performers in branches.
Why spread a lie? They are not ‘call centre agents’. They have more credability than a lot of people working in branches.
So what if there is a call centre making bookings.
I think a lot of you need to do some research about what the competition actually does because lying to the readers is just as credible as the fake reviews posted by anyone and every competitor on that all agents site.
Yawn.
Couldn’t be bothered to look at the actual lists – not sure what they achieve anyway but for my money the only genuine superbrand from the names mentioned above is Rightmove. Love ’em or loathe ’em, they’ve been a genuine success story for many years now.
Now they will be able to visit a hotel on the outskirts of Coventry in evening wear for an ‘Exclusive’ awards ceremony and collect a hideous piece of plastic.
Yawn
Does customer service include being punished by the ASA over a dozen times?
Just when you think you’ve heard it all, along comes this !
Perhaps they should be given some industry awards as well Oh..they could have HomeXperts awards.
Cant make profit, shareprice warning, failed to live up to their own hype.
Yet they are considered a super brand.
Give me the money they’ve had from Investors and I too will become a super brand.
What type of brand are they when they run out of money?
