Propertymark has launched an online calculator that enables estate and letting agents to estimate the potential financial benefits of its Company Advantage membership packages.

The interactive tool provides agencies with personalised estimates of potential savings on business costs, while also highlighting additional revenue opportunities available through the scheme.

After entering a few details about their business, users receive an estimate of savings across services including professional indemnity insurance, cyber security, accountant’s reports and compliance support.

The calculator also outlines potential income streams available through Company Advantage, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) check tokens and referral fees generated through Propertymark Connect, which allows agents to refer clients to a network of property-related services.

According to Propertymark, agencies using the relevant membership package could generate up to £15,750 a year through AML checks. The organisation also says referral income from Propertymark Connect could help offset the annual cost of membership.

The calculator is available on the Propertymark website for agencies considering the different Company Advantage packages.

Company Advantage provides estate and letting agents with access to a suite of business support services, including legal and HR advice, compliance guidance, cyber security support, professional documentation, marketing resources and preferential rates on essential business services.

Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark, said: “Many agents think of professional membership purely in terms of compliance and technical support, but Company Advantage goes much further. It helps businesses reduce everyday costs while creating opportunities to generate additional revenue through services such as AML checks and Propertymark Connect.

“The new calculator demonstrates that value in a clear, personalised way, giving agencies the information they need to make informed business decisions. At a time when every pound counts, we want to show that professional membership isn’t just an investment in standards; it can also deliver measurable commercial value.”
