Liv Cooke

A new property investment series has launched on Amazon Prime Video. It gives aspiring developers the chance to pitch projects to investors in a Dragons’ Den-style format.

Property Elevator features five episodes. Property entrepreneurs present investment proposals to a panel of experienced developers.

The investors assess each project’s finances before deciding whether to provide funding or enter into a joint venture.

The panel includes Liv Cooke, 27, a former freestyle football world champion who has since moved into property development.

Cooke is the youngest investor on the programme and founded Liv Cooke Properties.

Her business has undertaken residential developments, including projects providing accommodation for vulnerable people.

The show’s producers claim she has built a property development portfolio worth more than £100m. However, independent sources have not verified that figure.

She joins property investors Hayley Andrews and John Howard. Both have experience across residential and commercial development.

The programme follows entrepreneurs as they present proposals and explain their financial projections. They also face questions about costs, risks and potential returns.

Cooke said: “Sitting on that panel, you see very quickly who really knows their numbers and who doesn’t, and there were some deals that genuinely surprised me.

“I’m not afraid to say no, but when the fundamentals are right I’ll back you all the way.”

Before entering property development, Cooke established a career in freestyle football. She became a world champion in 2017 before moving into property investment.

The series also examines the challenges developers face when seeking finance. Investors assess whether proposed schemes offer sufficient returns to justify their backing.

All five episodes of Property Elevator are now available on Amazon Prime Video.
