New boss named for fast-growing Residential Landlords Association

The Residential Landlords Association has named a new chief executive.

Andrew Dixon takes over from Andrew Goodacre.

Dixon’s background is in leadership of customer loyalty programmes, including Tesco’s Clubcard and Boots’ Advantage Card.

Since last November he has been interim chief operating officer of Uchumi Supermarkets in Kenya.

Dixon said: “I believe the RLA has developed a great service for its members and this is reflected in the doubling of its membership over the last five years.

“I look forward to bringing some additional experience to the team which I hope will extend the offer and further grow the membership.”

Alan Ward, RLA chairman, said: “Andrew brings a wealth of experience in gaining and retaining customers and we look forward to him applying this to the RLA.

“It is more important than ever that private landlords have support to provide high standard accommodation, and Andrew will ensure that membership of the RLA provides this to more landlords.”
