LRG and GetGround agree buy-to-let partnership

Leaders Romans Group (LRG) has teamed up with GetGround, the buy-to-let company creation and management platform, to make investing in property through limited company structures faster and more efficient for its customers.

The partnership will see the launch of “Smart Investment”, which will enable landlords in LRG’s network to invest in property through GetGround’s limited company structure.

Through the Smart Investment platform, which is exclusive to LRG, customers will be able to consult with GetGround, which has grown its partnership network to 1,300 partner organisations, to discuss the benefits of investing through a company structure set to their individual and unique set of requirements.

Investors who subsequently join GetGround to incorporate and run their company buy-to-lets, will be able to access a comprehensive range of property services with LRG. This includes finding quality tenants, property management and financial services fit for their needs.

LRG says that integrated platforms between the two businesses will enable the seamless exchange of documentation and data to improve efficiency, save time and simplify the customer experience.

The LRG and GetGround partnership was successfully piloted among a portion of LRG branches during Spring 2022. The partnership has now been rolled out to all remaining branches nationwide.

Michael Cook, group MD at LRG, commented: “At LRG we strive to delight our customers every step of the way through their property purchase or investment journey. For investors, we know that creating a buy-to-let company is becoming an increasingly important requirement, but they are often put off by the seemingly laborious process they must go through to do it.

“GetGround’s fast digital platform offers a perfectly integrated way of creating and managing a property company, streamlining and automating admin and reporting effortlessly. Integrating this with LRG’s Property Management Platform to create Smart Investment is a unique proposition and will allow investors to improve the performance of their investment whilst saving time.”

Chris Frame, senior director and head of partnerships at GetGround, added: “We look forward to supporting LRG in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. With more market-leading operators like LRG coming on board, we are excited to see a sea-change in the way limited company investing is being adopted and promoted industry-wide.”
