Leaders Romans Group snaps up two high street independents – and is looking for more

The Leaders Romans Group has announced  two new acquisitions.

It has acquired sales and lettings firm Suttons City Living in Manchester and lettings specialist Dovetail in Bath. The former will become part of the 125-branch strong Leaders network, while the latter will be the latest addition to the Romans brand.

Both companies will be merged with the existing Leaders and Romans branches in the respective locations with all staff transferring to the new offices.

Matthew Light, group acquisitions director at LRG, said: “We are thrilled to have completed these two acquisitions, adding almost 650 managed properties to our portfolio in two key cities.

“The owners of both Suttons City Living and Dovetail expressed an interest in pursuing ventures outside the property industry, allowing us to secure two extremely well respected and experienced businesses.

“It is especially pleasing that all the existing employees at both companies are remaining with us and will become valued members of our teams in Manchester and Bath.

“LRG remains committed to expanding in 2018 and beyond by acquiring quality lettings and sales businesses across the UK.

“We have completed 12 acquisitions in the last 12 months alone and look forward to many more.”

Leaders’ branch in Deansgate is an established office in its north-west network, while Romans arrived in Bath only last November following the acquisition of Bath Property Letting.
