Samuel Estates has acquired Wimbledon-based lettings and property management firm Property Lodge Management, expanding its managed portfolio across South West London.
Property Lodge has operated across Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Putney and Wandsworth, building a portfolio of managed properties and long-standing landlord clients under founder Clarissa Daulby.
The acquisition increases Samuel Estates’ presence in the local lettings market, with Property Lodge’s landlords and managed properties transferring to the independent agency.
Nicholas Samuel, managing director of Samuel Estates, said the acquisition would strengthen the firm’s lettings and property management business while maintaining continuity for Property Lodge’s clients.
He commented: “Property Lodge is a business we have long respected. Clarissa has built something genuinely local, with landlords who have trusted her for years. We are proud to welcome her clients to Samuel Estates and to look after their properties with the same care they are used to.”
Clarissa Daulby, founder of Property Lodge, said she was confident landlords would continue to receive the same level of service following the transfer.
She added: “After many happy years building Property Lodge, the time felt right to step back. Once I met Nick and the team, I knew straight away my landlords would be in safe hands. They share the same local knowledge and personal approach, and I could not have asked for a better home for the business.”
The transaction was supported by estate agency and property management broker Think Acquisition.
