eXp Realty plans to introduce a new AI-powered platform across its international network, with UK agents potentially gaining access as the company expands across Europe.
The company is rolling out Nexus, which combines CRM, property listings, transaction management, electronic signatures, recruitment and marketing tools.
The technology aims to replace the multiple software systems agents currently use to run their businesses.
eXp has already tested Nexus in Latin America and is now expanding into other international markets.
South Africa, Australia and New Zealand are among the first markets to gain access. Spain is expected to follow.
However, eXp has yet to confirm a UK launch date.
One platform for agency operations
Nexus allows agents to manage listings, leads, transactions and marketing within a single system.
It also includes AI tools that connect customer records, property listings and transaction data.
eXp claims the platform could cut software costs by 60% to 70% in individual markets. The company expects these savings to come from replacing separate subscriptions and software licences.
However, eXp has not published independently verified figures to support its claims.
Felix Bravo, managing director of eXp International, said: “Whether it’s transactions, listings, revenue share, or leads coming in from a portal, everything communicates in one place.”
Transaction tools already in use
Several Nexus features are already operational.
eXp is trialling Nexus TRX, which manages property transactions from offer through to final signatures, in South Africa.
Meanwhile, agents across its international markets already have access to eXpSign, the company’s electronic signature tool.
Another feature, Property Files, allows prospective buyers to access property documents. It also directs enquiries into the platform’s CRM.
The company can adapt Nexus to individual markets, including local currencies, regulations and property portal integrations.
UK launch date remains unclear
eXp is introducing Nexus through closed beta testing across selected markets in Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
The company must also address GDPR and other local data protection requirements before expanding further across Europe.
Although UK agents form part of eXp’s international network, the company has not confirmed when they will receive access.
It has also yet to specify which features UK agents will be able to use.
Agents can continue using their existing software during the transition. They will access Nexus through eXp’s Hub.
Plans to target agents outside eXp
eXp also intends to offer Nexus to estate agents and brokerages outside its network.
The company plans to launch a paid subscription service following the wider internal rollout.
However, it has not announced pricing or launch dates.
The move could eventually put eXp in competition with established property software providers.
For UK-based eXp agents, the key questions concern availability and integration with existing agency systems and property portals.
