Alto reports a sharp rise in estate agencies switching from rival CRM systems. However, it has declined to disclose the actual numbers behind its growth figures.
The software provider says its average deal value jumped 83% year on year in Q3 2026.
Meanwhile, the number of large contracts secured between January and September rose 171%. Revenue from those contracts increased 228%.
However, when questioned by EYE, Alto would not disclose the number of deals or their monetary value.
Alto defines a large deal as a new contract with an agency employing at least 50 people.
It also reports securing 64% more large deals in the first nine months of 2026 than throughout 2025.
Rival CRM switches more than triple
Alto claims the number of agency businesses switching from a major rival CRM provider more than tripled between January and September.
However, the company declined to identify the competitor or reveal how many businesses switched.
Alto says its software now operates in more than 6,000 UK agency offices.
Its agency customer base has grown 16% since January 2025.
Meanwhile, new sales increased 9% between Q2 and Q3, while September sales rose 11% year on year.
Larger agencies switch systems
Redstone Lettings and Management, King & Partners, and Middleton Estates were among the agencies that moved to Alto during Q3.

Chris Tonroe, director of King & Partners, said regulatory pressures influenced the firm’s decision to switch after eight years.
“The legislation and the changes coming into the industry mean we need to be more automated,” he said.
Riccardo Iannucci-Dawson, Alto’s chief executive, said larger agencies were moving away from older technology.
“Big agencies have spent years paying to have systems built around them, and those systems never kept up.”
Alto’s figures indicate growth among larger agency customers. However, without the underlying contract numbers, switching totals or deal values, the scale of those gains remains unclear.
