Franchising network Country Properties has raised £40,000 for cancer charity Macmillan.
The network – which has just grown to 22 with additional new offices in Cambridge and Bedford – pledged its support to the charity at the start of this year.
Franchisor Ian Wilson said: “Our original target was £20,000 but it soon became apparent, due to the fantastic efforts of all our franchisees and their staff, we were going to smash that figure.
“To break £40,000 is more than we could have hoped for. We’ll be looking at starting a new challenge in 2015, and maybe set a target of £50,000 next time.”
The Country Properties network operates across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
Wilson said that he is talking to several other possible franchisees.
