Lomond appoints former Foxtons executive as senior director

Lomond has appointed Neil McGimpsey as chief revenue officer for its southern region, replacing Charters founder Rob Mott, who is stepping down after 18 years.
McGimpsey will oversee the performance and growth of Lomond’s southern agency brands, including Charters, Miles & Barr, Prospect and Ocean.
He moves into the role after serving as Lomond’s chief operating officer since joining the group in December 2025. During that time, he oversaw the group’s response to changes introduced by the Renters’ Rights Act.
Before joining Lomond, McGimpsey spent 15 years in senior leadership positions at Foxtons. He also served as chief executive of Druce & Co.
His appointment comes as Lomond continues to develop its regional management structure. The group now operates 14 estate and letting agency brands across England and Scotland.
Mott, who founded Charters 18 years ago, is stepping down from his regional leadership role after overseeing the agency’s expansion.
Paul Geddes, chief executive of Lomond, said: “Neil’s proven track record, commercial expertise and deep understanding of the industry make him ideally placed to lead Lomond’s southern region into its next chapter.
“We would also like to thank Rob for his invaluable contributions over the years. He founded Charters with an unwavering commitment to exceptional service, innovation and people.”
McGimpsey commented: “It’s an honour to be entrusted with leading Lomond’s southern region into its next chapter. Rob leaves behind an exceptional legacy, strong brand and an industry-leading team.
“The opportunities ahead make this an incredibly exciting time, and I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to continue building on the success already achieved in Lomond’s southern region.”
Mott added: “I’m hugely proud of everything we’ve achieved at Charters and grateful to the incredible people who have been part of that journey.
“Thank you to everyone across Charters and Lomond for your support. I’m confident the business will continue to go from strength to strength under Paul’s leadership, and in Neil the region has an excellent new leader.”
