Felicity J Lord in Hackney has appointed Charlie Saville, aged 23, as its new branch manager.

Saville has spent his entire career at Felicity J Lord having developed and trained with them, starting in Stoke Newington as a Negotiator at 19 before becoming a senior negotiator at 21.

However, what makes Saville unusual is that he was also running Charlie’s Bar in East London until May this year, after inheriting it from his dad.

He would work at 5am before going to Felicity J Lord and go straight back to the pub after to work 7pm until 10pm.

He said: “I do believe my leadership skills of running the pub have really helped my career in Spicerhaart. I know how to communicate with clients and staff and manage a team and I enjoy helping others develop.

“When I was approached about the promotion, I was so honoured; the role is so rewarding in that I get to really build our market share and push the office and employees to that next level. I want to be able to say I’ve really grown our branch and presence in the Hackney area to number one.”

Kim Chiles, estate agency director, commented: “When I first interviewed Charlie four years ago, he really stood out from the crowd. He quickly became a team member that others admired and gravitated towards, especially when he started to benchmark his performance by winning awards.

“He has been a cornerstone of the Stoke Newington team. It was a proud moment when Steve Williams, our chapter managing director, and I were able to break the news to Charlie that he had been successful in his quest to run his own office.

“I know that he will be a fantastic asset to the Hackney team. I am confident that he will work closely with our lettings Manager Amanda Alleyne and our Mortgage Adviser Laura Jeffries to give a first-class service.”
