Zoopla partners with technology giant to bring big screen technology to high street agents

Zoopla has partnered with leading technology giant Samsung SDS to bring an online search experience for consumers direct to the high street offices of its member agents.

The partnership will see Samsung SDS offer agents 40-60 inch, high-bright, digital touch-screen displays inside branches that are powered by Zoopla listings, creating the ultimate in-store search tool.

The listings content will only relate to the properties available at that specific branch and will enable sales and rental agents to engage and attract buyers, vendors, renters and landlords in-branch with a touch screen solution.

Inside the branch agents can engage with potential buyers and renters and walk them through the property details via the interactive displays, allowing property consumers to explore available properties, photos, floor plans and area maps, including Google Street View, along with the local area and other essential buying and renting information that is all integrated into the touch screens.

The screens can also be installed to face out to the streets and enable the branch’s listings to be played out to those passing by during the day or after office opening hours.

The set-up also gives agents the chance to upload agent profiles and promote to potential vendors and landlords the team that might work on selling or letting their property.

Mark Goddard, managing director of ZPG Property Services, said:We are excited to be partnering with Samsung SDS.

“Through this partnership we are giving our members the chance to easily publish property details content and we are essentially bringing the online experience that consumers are used to at home into the office with these super-sized interactive screens.

“This will help agents update the current out of date retail format of brochures and desk-based customer experience and facilitate a richer in-branch experience that engages property consumers and also improves the retail experience for their buyers, renters and clients.

“The set-up is extremely simple and all that is required is plugging the Zoopla branch ID into the set-up, resulting in all the benefits of online, but with an expert on hand to help.”

Yesterday, a Zoopla spokesperson said that he was unsure what the cost would be to agents but emphasised that the agreement would be with Samsung and not ZPG, which will be purely facilitating the easy publishing of their content.
