Well-known estate agency acquires rival firm as part of ongoing expansion

Charters Group has announced a further acquisition in a strategic move that will grow its residential letting operations.

Charters, with its network of offices, will combine its operations with Churchills, a well-established estate agency in Eastleigh. The acquisition will see Charters grow its letting portfolio by more than 200 properties.

Charters letting division now has around 2,500 managed properties, further enhancing the agency’s growing lettings portfolio and augmenting its ongoing acquisition growth strategy.

Robert Mott, Charters Group chairman, said: “Our growing lettings portfolio, coupled with some exceptional systems and operational practices we have implemented internally, means we are able to offer landlords the very best, efficient service in an ever-changing environment.”

Churchills Estate Agents in Eastleigh has been built up over 20 years by property experts, Simeon and Annette Field.

“I am proud to be part of the ongoing expansion across the Charters Group. Our customers will continue to receive the same level of customer care and attention but within a wider network of lettings and property management experts. The team is really excited for the future”, commented Simeon Field.

Charters Group says it is looking ahead to the rest of 2023 with real excitement and, with funding available for acquisitions of ‘like-minded operations’ in the estate agency sector.
