The chief executive of The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) has increased his stake in the business with the purchase of another 11,000 shares.
Gareth Samples bought the shares on 28 September at 413p each, representing an investment of £45,430.
The transaction increases his beneficial holding in the AIM-listed company to 694,374 ordinary shares.
The purchase follows a sizeable share option award made to Samples earlier this year.
In June, TPFG granted options over 920,000 ordinary shares to executives and employees under its Share Option Plan.
Samples received the largest individual award, with options over 400,000 shares under the group’s 2026 Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP).
The company, which owns estate and letting agency brands including Belvoir and Martin & Co, described the award as an enhanced one-off allocation reflecting Samples’ role in the growth of the business.
Samples will not receive further LTIP awards in 2027 or 2028. Instead, the 2026 award covers the three financial years ending 31 December 2028.
The options are subject to performance conditions linked equally to total shareholder return (TSR) and adjusted earnings per share (EPS).
For both measures, 15% growth over the performance period triggers threshold vesting of 50% of the relevant portion. Full vesting requires growth of 30%, with straight-line vesting between the two levels.
Executive awards are also subject to a two-year post-exercise holding period, excluding shares sold to meet tax liabilities.
Chief financial officer Ben Dodds received options over 100,000 shares in June, while executive director Michelle Brook received 40,000.
Samples’ latest transaction involved the purchase of existing ordinary shares rather than the exercise of options. It took place on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market.
