Spicerhaart opens its latest hybrid-style Property Centre

haart, part of the Spicerhaart estate agency group, has opened a new Property Centre in Plymouth as part of its expansion plans in Devon and Cornwall.

It is the third new-start Property Centre for the Spicerhaart group, bringing the total number of expanded Property Centres  to 61. This is in addition to its wider network of high street branches across the UK.

Anthony Lark, Spicerhaart group managing director, said: “We were one of the first agencies to change our business model and adapt to new ways of working, even pre-pandemic. We now see others trying to emulate this model, which works really well for us thanks to our investment in technology and marketing over the years.

“The Property Centres act as hubs for our growing network of Partners, who work in a hybrid way partly from home, on the road meeting clients and coming into the Centres for meetings and training. This has enabled us to extend our reach across England and Wales, where our ambition is to provide a service in every postcode.

“By having larger Property Centres, usually with 10 or more staff based in-house and a further 6 within their own communities, we are able to provide an even better service to all our residential customers, landlords and developers.”

Newly-recruited area partner, Heleney Henderson, who is overseeing the Plymouth Property Centre, is currently recruiting a brand-new team to work at its Exeter Street premises.

She said: “Our new Property Centre is spacious and modern, with meeting rooms for training, providing facilities for Partners as they travel in from across Devon and Cornwall. The renovations took longer than expected thanks in part to Covid-19 restrictions. However, it was well worth the wait, as we’re now able to serve the local area with an incredibly talented team.”

haart has also recruited a new area partner to oversee its Leeds Property Centre, which opened last year, as did one in Aylesbury.

Scott Copley has more than 12 years’ experience in the industry, previously with Reeds Rains, Purplebricks and Your Move. He said: “Already I can see we have a brilliant team here in Leeds which I will develop even further. With the assistance of fantastic technology, I am excited to see us support as many customers as we can across West Yorkshire.”
