Sources have told EYE that the Propertymark board has voted to not allow ARLA propertymark CEO, David Cox, to stand for the new role of head of the joint NAEA/ARLA Propertymark organisation when Mark Hayward (NAEA CEO) retires later this year.

We understand that as a consequence David Cox will leave the organisation in the very near future.

Cox joined ARLA in 2014.

In 2017, Chris Wood had his application to be vice-president of NAEA blocked.

Wood, subsequently tried – but failed – to have the vice-presidential election halted, claiming that the “pre-selection process” was unconstitutional.
