Rising to the challenge: Agents set to climb three mountains in 24 hours for charity

A group of 25 estate agents and friends from Fine & Country are set to tackle an intensive 24-hour hiking adventure by attempting the Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday to raise money for homelessness charities.

The Fine & Country Foundation has seven teams looking to complete climbs of Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales within 24 hours.

They begin their ascent of the 1,345m climb of Ben Nevis at 6am and must also drive between the countries while the clock ticks.

The first mountain is estimated to take six hours to climb and they will have eaten into half their time once they reach Scafell Pike.

The fastest trekkers should complete the 978m climb of Scafell Pike by 9pm and then have to get to Wales to tackle the 1,085m high Mount Snowdon before 6am the next day.

If this has got you feeling fit, the Fine & Country Foundation is also looking for individuals to join a mission to reach the summit of the world’s tallest freestanding mountain, Kilimanjaro, in October.

The journey includes a visit to the foundation’s partner charity Youth in Action Against HIV/AIDS, which will receive every penny raised.

Contact foundation@fineandcountry.com or call 020 3368 8221 to register your place.

Registration closes on July 26.
