Offer for EYE readers: Video showing safety measures for live viewings

Here is something light-hearted, professional, and useful.

A short video that demonstrates to applicants the distancing and safety procedures required for the live viewing of a property.

It has been created by letting agency Lenwell  for their own use by their branches, but Managing Director Rob Wellstead has generously offered to personalise the video branding to other companies  if the agent makes a small donation to NHS Charities.

If you would like to take up the offer, email sonia@lenwell.com

Has she (maybe) got Covid or the plague?

Is the next scene: Customer asks which parking bay is theirs – you pull out baseball bat and hit them for stopping too long

Stay 2 metres apart and talk to your client, build rapport. Not rocket science

This is not good. Totally OTT and must be a spoof giggle not a training guide. As for leaving them to show themselves that’s poor practice and I would cease instruction with the agent immediately. It’s perfectly possible to meet and have a SD conversation and show the property whilst socially distancing. As for a 5-10 limit that’s also unrealistic for the biggest purchase of your life. So long as SD is taking place it’s perfectly possible to have a conversation in a room, or discussion in the garden etc.

if this video is a comic spoof clip for a sitcom then full marks for taking the **** out of our industry- but if it’s for real then … words fail

Attack attack attack. At least Lenwells are being responsible.

Our experience so far… Tell a viewer what you require in terms of PPE and they turn up part or unprepared. Discuss the 2m social distancing – they can’t help themselves to come nearer. Ask them not to touch anything – Well,  you may as well be talking to the speaking clock.

people are still dying. People are still sheltering and self isolating. Many of us are relatives to NHS workers on the front line.

    Appreciate staying alive folks.

nb: do I like the video (no) do I like the context (it gets the message across) do I want to take up the offer (no thank you but thank you for offering and sharing) do I think Lenwells are demonstrating responsibility (absolutely YES). Well done !

Try asking them if they have or had contact with Covid-19. You believe them!!! and many won’t even know they have !!!

The virus does not move, people move the virus.
