Reapit has announced a strategic partnership with Just Move In, integrating the home move platform into its estate agency software to help agents simplify move-in administration and offer customers support with essential household services.

The integration enables agents to introduce buyers and tenants to Just Move In during the sales or lettings process. Customers can arrange utilities, council tax notifications, broadband and home insurance through the platform, either using its AI assistant or by speaking to an adviser.

For agencies, the partnership provides an opportunity to generate additional revenue when customers purchase services through the platform, while reducing the amount of administration handled by front-line teams.

The integration also targets operational efficiencies for property managers. Just Move In says its platform can automate change-of-occupancy notifications and utility updates, reducing administration associated with tenant move-ins and move-outs. The company estimates this can cut change-of-occupancy administration by up to 90% and save property managers an average of 19 hours each month.

The launch comes as letting agents prepare for changes under the Renters’ Rights Act, which will allow tenants in England to give two months’ notice at any stage of a tenancy. More frequent and less predictable tenancy changes are expected to increase the administrative burden associated with void periods and utility management.

Reapit said the partnership is intended to help agencies manage those operational challenges while offering customers a more streamlined moving experience.
