New homes podcast aims to get industry talking

Antler Agency has launched its own podcast, hosted by the company’s CEO, Simon Jenns.

The marketing agency – with offices in Birmingham and Southampton – said the Antler New Homes Podcast will feature leading individuals in the property industry, who will be asked their thoughts on certain trends and what to expect from the market in the coming months.

With an episode released every two weeks, the podcast has been created as a resource for housebuilders and “property fanatics”, Antler said.

Guests already featured include Lucian Cook, head of residential research at Savills UK, and Stuart Hensby, sales and marketing director at Abri Homes.

Upcoming guests who will feature over the next few weeks include: Mark White, managing director of Bargate Homes; Chris Schutrups, chief executive of the Mortgage Hut; Alex Rose, director of corporate agency and new homes at Zoopla; David Cracklen, Seb Janes and Mark Adams, co-owners of AJC Group; Paul Sams, partner of Dutton Gregory; and Natalie Evans from Little Barn Door Home Staging.

Jenns said: “I felt within the sector we were lacking a go-to resource for information on the sales and marketing of new homes. It is a niche subject, so having an educational hub where individuals can hear information that can help to guide strategies and help them to perform better in their role is the real aim of the podcast.

“The series was born from various client meetings and conversations, with many wishing to understand what others in the industry are experiencing in these unprecedented times. We have found there is a strong appetite for information on market conditions and forecasts, particularly due to the challenges housebuilders currently face.

“We want the podcast to be useful for anyone in the new homes industry, whether it be sales and marketing professionals, land agents, planning consultants, mortgage brokers, conveyancers, and digital portals, as the content will be relevant to a cross section of the market,” Jenns added.

The podcast can be heard on various platforms including Apple, Spotify, and YouTube. It is also available via the company’s website.
