New designation launched for agents achieving qualifications

Accreditation body safeagent – formerly NALS – has launched a new designation for agents to use once they pass its courses.

Lettings agents who pass the Foundation Lettings Course [England & Wales], the Level 3 Scotland Foundation Lettings Course, or the Level 3 Award in Letting & Property Management [England] will be able to use the ‘safeagent qualified’ designation.

Those achieving safeagent accredited courses will be provided with a ‘safeagent qualified’ digital badge which they can use on their own marketing, communications and personal stationery.

There is no extra charge for this beyond the cost of the course.

Isobel Thomson, chief executive of safeagent, said: “We wanted to be able to provide a clear way for agents who’ve undertaken our training to promote their expertise and professionalism.

“‘Safeagent qualified’ is a badge of excellence, showing clients and peers that an agent has achieved high quality industry training.”

The ‘safeagent qualified’ designation belongs to the individual who has achieved the qualification rather than their firm and can be taken with them throughout their career.
