More discounts and help for agents from industry suppliers

More special offers are continuing to be offered to agents.

Cloud-based lettings platform teclet is offering a free five-month trial to agents.

The platform uses a number of partners, to provide referencing, inventories, white goods, insurances, utility switching and more.

Even before the current crisis, it says that nearly 40% of interactions with the teclet platform were taking outside normal business hours. It says that it provides flexibility for remote working, and can be up and running for new customers within 48 hours.

Commercial director John Evans said: “There are always many pressures on businesses but now it is about survival mode.”

ProVal and LeadPro have announced an immediate 100% reduction in their normal monthly fees to all customers.

LeadPro, a tool that nurtures portals leads, recently merged with ProVal, an online valuation tool that generates valuation leads. The company has decided to provide all services free of charge in a bid to support agents in the lockdown market.

Managing director Sam Zawadzki said that the firm is taking radical action to help customers survive in the most difficult trading conditions ever experienced.

He  said: “The next few months will be an incredibly difficult time in the property market. Agents will have to slash expenditure while still delivering as much revenue as possible.

“To support our clients in winning new business while also conserving their cash ahead of the oncoming recession, we must give them all the tools and support possible.”

Live chat provider Yomdel is discounting its charges by 25% and for new users is also scrapping set-up costs.

The firm says that this will mean it is operating below costs, but says it wants to help customers at a difficult time.

Yomdel emphasises that its 24/7 live chat operators are ‘real people’ – it employs around 120 in two centres.

The 25% discount is being applied automatically between the start of this week and the end of June.

Yomdel founder Andy Soloman said: “We’re not locking people into long-term contracts.

“We genuinely want to offer a lifeline to businesses that may be struggling.

“We are living in extraordinary times and we’re pulling out all the stops to support our friends in the industry.”

RM cancel final dividend payment to shareholders – that’s £38million in the bank to tide them over.

Are they about to agree to demands from Agents to make their portal FREE for the next 3 months ?
