Independent estate agency Hat and Home, which launched in February last year, has opened its third branch, in the Berkshire town of Bracknell.

The business launched last year with an office in Wokingham, followed just nine months later by a branch in Crowthorne.

The firm’s founder Ben Gee commented: “Bracknell is a great fit for Hat and Home as it borders our two existing offices in Wokingham and Crowthorne. The regeneration of Bracknell town centre over the past five years has supported the growth of housing stock in the town which attracts a wide demographic of home movers.”

The 2,000 sq ft premises in the Lexicon retail centre features Hat and Home’s signature bowler hat lights, exposed brick walls, living moss wall and framed Paul Young album.

Hat and Home are well-known for their distinctive marketing campaign featuring a bowler hat morphed into other objects which represent their proposition and service offering.

The sales operation will be headed by Annabelle Blythe who has worked across Berkshire, and more recently in the west London Market.

“Bracknell is a home from home for me having lived and worked in the area. The market has seen significant price growth over the past two years and I can’t wait to help our clients achieve the best possible price for their homes,” she said.

Liz Gamlen oversees the lettings division for Hat and Home and will be focussing on the growth of market share in Bracknell.

She stated: “The rental market is still starved of quality stock which makes it an ideal time for professional and first-time landlords to achieve excellent yields. Now is the time to review your existing portfolio to get the best possible rent the market is willing to pay.”

Director Luke Strzadala added: “Fantastic schools, plenty of green open spaces and a plethora of leisure facilities make Bracknell a superb place to live and work. We are delighted to bring Hat and Home to the town to offer local homeowners a contemporary and dynamic approach to the sale or let of their property.”

Good luck to you guys. There aren’t any decent agents in Bracknell so you should do well!

The public possibly disagrees with you on that Bigbee, it looks like  there are 13 #local agents in Bracknell and nearly 50 agents who have listings in Bracknell, 4 out of the 50 agents do nearly70% of the completions there.

They should be congratulated for their achievements but it looks like a crowded and competitive territory with lots of agents fighting for the business the main 4 agents don’t pick up. A tough gig which makes their achievements so far more notable!
