Independent London estate agency Stow Brothers is opening a new office on Upper Street in Islington this summer, extending its branch network in the capital.
The office, at 292 Upper Street, will offer sales, lettings, property management and new homes services. The firm currently operates across East London and West Essex.
The Islington branch marks the company’s first location in North London and forms part of its wider expansion across the city.
Founders Kenny and Andrew Goad said the move also has personal significance alongside the business expansion.
“Islington is an area that has always felt like home to us – our great grandfather Alf actually had a jeweller’s on Upper street!” says Kenny Goad. “We know there is a real sense of character, creativity and community here, and it aligns closely with how we see property. opening in Islington feels like a very special moment.”
Leading the new office will be Russell Gooden, who joins as sales manager. With strong local knowledge and extensive experience in the London market, he will head up the sales operation and help establish Stow Brothers’ presence in the area.
The Islington office has been architecturally designed to reflect both the Stow Brothers brand and its new surroundings. Interiors are being delivered by Rees Architects, creating a design-led space with a slightly more premium feel, featuring refined finishes and considered detailing that echo the character of Upper Street.
Supporting the launch is a creative campaign developed by Studio.Build, centred around a specially commissioned poem. The campaign will run across print, digital and outdoor channels, bringing a softer, more narrative-led approach to announcing the brand’s arrival in Islington.
“From the outset, we wanted the launch to feel thoughtful and rooted in the area,” said Victoria, creative and marketing director. “The campaign reflects that, it’s not just about opening an office, it’s about becoming part of a neighbourhood.”
