LonRes rolls out AI tool to extend property visibility beyond its network

LonRes has launched a new service for subscribers aimed at increasing the visibility of listed properties across AI-driven search platforms.

The service, called AI Boost, is available free of charge to LonRes members and is designed to extend the reach of selected listings beyond the LonRes network to a wider consumer audience using AI platforms.

Agents can activate the feature on a per-property basis through a single click within the LonRes system. Once enabled, listings marked with AI Boost are made available via API integration to selected AI search and discovery platforms.

Properties that are off-market or subject to restricted marketing will not be included, and full property addresses will not be displayed.

When users discover a listing through an AI platform, they are provided with a dedicated link to an interactive property page, which includes key details and directs enquiries back to the listing agent.

LonRes said the aim of the service is to support agents in increasing exposure of eligible stock while maintaining existing controls around sensitive or restricted listings.

Chris Welch, director of sales at LonRes, said: “AI Boost gives LonRes subscribers the opportunity to go beyond the LonRes platform to reach buyers and potential tenants.  We do not see AI Boost as a replacement to the established portals but as an additional marketing channel.  This technology is in its infancy, and we are excited to be working with our subscribers to maximise the results AI can bring.
“Buyers and tenants are increasingly using AI platforms such as Chat GPT, Perplexity and Gemini to search for properties.  Once they’ve keyed in the type of property they’re looking for, the area they’re looking in and their budget if it matches one earmarked by AI Boost on LonRes, the property will be sent directly to the AI platform.
“LonRes members will have full control of which properties they choose to promote and the selection takes place within the safe and trusted environment of the LonRes platform.  AI Boost simply adds a new dimension to the LonRes offering.”
