Howzat for a deal as estate agency agrees ‘big-hitting’ partnership

Robert Cooney Estate Agents & Chartered Surveyors has agreed to renew its commercial partnership with Somerset County Cricket Club in 2023.

The agreement will see the Taunton-based estate agency continue to be SCCC’s Official Vitality Blast Four and Six Partner and once again guarantees that Robert Cooney’s branding will be prominent throughout the Cooper Associates County Ground on match days.

Additional brand exposure will be guaranteed with LED, video scoreboard and live stream branding.

A lifelong Taunton resident, Robert Cooney set up his estate agency in 2010 and now has a team of 11 advising on residential sales, land & new homes alongside residential letting and property management.

Regarding the renewal, SCCC commercial director, Caroline Herbert, said: “Over the last few years we have developed an excellent working relationship with the team at Robert Cooney, and their branding on our big screens has become synonymous with the big-hitting at our Vitality Blast home fixtures.

“I know for a fact that a number of our players have utilised their services over the last few years and have been pleased with the results.

“We remain committed to championing local businesses, and we are delighted to be partnering with Robert Cooney again this year.”

Kate Trewhella, partner at Robert Cooney, added: “We are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with SCCC and are excited to be adding to the live stream element for the first time this year.

“We act for SCCC players both past and present, the most recent leaving a glowing 5-star Google review acknowledging our own team’s efforts.

“We all wish the team the very best of luck for the season – and here’s to all the Fours & Sixes!”
