Hamptons to hand Just Move In referral fee to Marine Conservation Society

Hamptons has announced that it will be partnering with Just Move In, the home setup service, and will be committing each customer referral fee to the Marine Conservation Society.

Just Move In is a certified B Corporation, and together, Hamptons aims to help clients switch to 100% renewable energy plans.

The estate agency says that for every new customer that signs up to the service, a carbon-absorbing mangrove tree will be planted in their name.

Hamptons will donate all funds, including any referral fees from this partnership, to the Marine Conservation Society, the company’s environmental charity.

Lesley Cairns, managing director at Hamptons, said: “In recent years Hamptons has taken bold steps to protect the environment and the planet we call home. Partnering with Just Move In is the latest in a long line of environmentally pointed initiatives attempting to make moving more eco-friendly. Just Move In provides a fantastic service which aims to remove some of the stresses of moving house, but with the added benefit of helping the planet along the way.

“Customers who use their service can reduce their carbon emissions and save themselves time and money, while a Mangrove Tree is also planted in their name.

“At Hamptons we’re equally as passionate about the environment and that’s why we’ve chosen to give each customer referral free we earn from Just Move In, to the Marine Conservation Society, to help with the good work they do protecting our marine life, and our oceans.”
