Hamptons gets set to launch its own conveyancing service

Countrywide brand Hamptons International is set to launch its first private conveyancing hub in Beaconsfield, Bucks, later this year.

It will operate from a high street location and provide locally-based Hamptons clients with a personalised, professional and bespoke conveyancing service.

Expected to function from autumn, the hub will operate under a head of legal who will be supported by a dedicated team of property lawyers. All will have considerable local expertise in order to best advise and handle the legal process of each transaction.

The hub will work closely with Hamptons sales branches across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire by handling the legalities of customers’ property sales or purchases.

The launch sits as part of Countrywide’s Building our Future strategy and expands on the existing group conveyancing service by catering specifically to premium clients and their individual needs.

Further private conveyancing hubs will open across Hamptons’ London and country network.

Hmmmm conflict of interest pops up. I recall the DTI had grave concerns over this scenario back in the 1990’s in the house buying system in England and Wales which is the same today.
