Firm acquires long-standing competitor

An agent has acquired a long-established competitor trading on the opposite side of the road.

The acquisition of Bacons Property Management by Jackson, Green & Preston in Grimsby came after Bacons’ sole proprietor Paul Clifford decided to retire.

The sale means that the management of over 250 properties has changed hands, bringing Jackson, Green & Preston’s portfolio to over 1,200.

All eight of Bacons’ staff are crossing the road to transfer to the new owner. They will bring numbers in the lettings department to 24.

Jackson, Green & Preston goes back to 1920, and Bacons traces its roots to 1932.

Best wishes to the Bacons staff in their new ‘home’. A good bit of business for JGP that strengthens their portfolio.
