An independent estate agency has opened a new branch in Whitley Bay, with further expansion already planned across the region.
Greetham Gilbert has opened the office on Park View, adding to its existing operation in Jesmond, Newcastle.
The new office provides residential sales, lettings and property management services.
Agency grows to 13 staff
Isabella Stewart will lead the Whitley Bay operation, supported by three sales and lettings negotiators.
The expansion takes Greetham Gilbert’s total headcount to 13.
Founders Simon and Louise Greetham and Roger Gilbert established the agency in 2023. The business said it already has plans to expand into other parts of the region.
Simon Greetham said: “Whitley Bay is an area that has always felt like home to us. Living at the coast ourselves, we know the nature of Park View is vibrant and has a strong community feel with lots of other independent businesses based here.
“There’s a real sense of character and creativity here, and it reflects the type of high-end, aspirational homes that we represent.
“Opening our new branch in Whitley Bay is a very proud moment for us.”

The Whitley Bay opening marks the latest stage of the agency’s growth since its launch three years ago.
