eXp UK says agent count based on sign-ups, not website listings

Questions have been raised by some readers over eXp UK’s claim that it has surpassed the 1,000-agent milestone, following publication of the story yesterday.

A handful of comments posted beneath the article queried how the figure had been calculated and suggested that the number of agents visible on eXp UK’s website appeared to be lower than the total reported by the company.

When approached by EYE, a spokesperson for eXp UK said the figure is based on actual agent sign-ups across its network and not solely on the profiles currently displayed on its website.

The spokesperson explained that there can be a lag between agents joining the business and their profiles being added or updated online, meaning the website should not be viewed as a live reflection of the company’s total agent count.

The clarification comes after eXp UK announced that more than 1,000 agents have now joined its platform, having entered 2026 with around 900 agents and previously reported passing the 800-agent mark during 2025.

The business maintains that the 1,000-agent milestone reflects continued growth in its self-employed agency network.
