eXp UK reports agents outperform wider market on new instructions

Adam Day

eXp UK says its network is recording faster growth in new instructions than the wider property market, as sellers return and more agents move towards self-employed operating models.

The firm analysed data from TwentyEA, comparing UK-wide new instruction trends with performance across its own platform, alongside metrics including completion timescales and pricing accuracy.

Over the past six months, the average monthly increase in new instructions across the wider market was 8.1%, compared with 12.7% for eXp UK.

Growth has also accelerated in the shorter term. Over the last three months, new instruction volumes at eXp UK rose by 56.5% versus the previous three-month period, compared with 52.5% across the wider market.

eXp UK also reports operational differences across its network. So far in 2026, the average time from instruction to completion stands at 169 days, compared with 195 days for traditional agents and 191 days for online operators.

The business adds that its listings are priced at an average of 0.83% above AVM estimates at instruction, while achieved sale prices sit 1.63% below Land Registry benchmarks.

Adam Day, head of eXp UK and Europe, commented: “The market has shown a clear uplift in seller activity in recent months and the fact that eXp UK is continuing to outperform the wider market when it comes to instruction growth demonstrates the strength of both our platform and our agents.

“Importantly, this growth is not coming at the expense of operational performance. We’re continuing to deliver faster completion times and strong pricing accuracy while scaling at pace, which is exactly what agents need in today’s market environment.

“For agents considering a move into the self-employed space, the question increasingly becomes why wait. The industry is evolving quickly and our upcoming conference is a fantastic opportunity for agents to experience first-hand how the eXp platform, technology and support structure can help them grow more successfully within their local market.”
