The premises of a long-established Haart branch are heading to auction with a guide price of around £200,000 – but the estate agency is staying put.
The ground-floor commercial space at Electric House in Ipswich will go under the hammer on 23 September.
Haart has occupied the premises for the past 14 years and has a lease running until 2030. The agency currently pays an estimated £28,350 a year in rent.
As a result, the sale offers investors the opportunity to acquire estate agency premises with an existing tenant and rental income already in place.

Electric House is a mixed-use development comprising residential flats and commercial offices. Meanwhile, its location on Lloyds Avenue puts it close to Ipswich town centre and Tower Ramparts car park.
In addition, the ground-floor premises will be sold with a new 125-year lease dating from 2026.
Goldings Ipswich, which is handling the auction, described the sale as: “An unusual opportunity to acquire the long leasehold interest in the commercial ground floor of one of Ipswich town centre’s most prominent landmark buildings, with a new 125-year lease granted from 2026.
