Every year, Property Academy carries out the biggest performance assessment in the estate agency industry to identify the best agencies in the country. This year’s assessment is now complete. But how does your agency rank?
Last week saw the virtual opening ceremony of this year’s EA Masters, where it was announced that 20% of the 15,000 estate agencies in the country have made it into the Best Estate Agent Guide 2023. Does this include your agency?

The rigorous selection process has seen Property Academy use data on online property listings to select a shortlist of possible best estate agents in the UK. A professional marketing agency was then commissioned to conduct an assessment of agencies’ websites and mystery shops were conducted by a team of professional mystery shoppers. This thorough and in-depth evaluation determines which agencies are listed in the Best Estate Agent Guide and go on to be shortlisted for an award.

Winning agents that attend EA Masters on 21 September at Evolution, London, will be presented with their award on stage by a celebrity presenter and perhaps even take home the most highly prized trophy in estate agency – The Best Estate Agent Guide Estate Agent of the Year Award.

In my opinion this really is something VERY special – there really is nothing else like it in estate agency. I’m absolutely certain that there will be the usual negative comments criticising this brilliant initiative from Property Academy but really… what a fantastically ambitious and inspiring project. A detailed evaluation of what estate agents up and down the country do every day – great work and THANK YOU!
You do realise that most of these best agent type things are just money generators for the company running it?
I do – oddly enough the winner is never someone who has not signed up and paid for the event.
The general public do not give a s++t and these award they will not even know who has won.
