Connells Group has acquired independent estate agents Optima Property in Cambridgeshire

Optima Property offers sales and lettings across three branches in Wisbech, March and Chatteris.

The March and Wisbech branches will operate under the William H Brown brand and the Chatteris branch will sit under the Sharman Quinney banner.

The acquisition will see Optima’s experienced staff retained and provides a platform for Connells Group to grow its market share in this region.

Connells Group estate agency chief executive David Plumtree said: “We look forward to welcoming our new colleagues into the group.”

Connells Group said it is firmly in the business of acquiring agents, and is open to approaches from existing sales or lettings businesses looking to sell or who wish to grow as part of a wider group.
